At Crieff Baptist Church we are deeply committed to prayer, bible teaching, and fostering a strong sense of fellowship and community. Our church actively engages in various community initiatives, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of our members and the wider community here in Crieff. With a wide array of weekly and monthly groups and events, including gatherings tailored for women, men, children, and teenagers, we aim to provide a welcoming environment for spiritual growth and connection.

That the Lord Jesus Christ our God and Saviour is the sole and absolute Authority in all matters pertaining to faith and practice, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and that each Church has liberty, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to interpret and administer His laws.

That Christian Baptism is the immersion in water into the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, of those who have professed repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins according to the Scriptures; was buried and rose again the third day.

That it is the duty of every disciple to bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to take part in the evangelisation of the world.
Our Team
Pastor John Burns
Our Pastor, Rev John Burns, came to serve in Crieff in September 2024. He is a graduate of the Scottish Baptist College and prior to sensing the call to Crieff he served in youth ministry for around 10 years.
John has a passion for serving and developing the next generation of leaders and for teaching and relating God’s word into a 21st century context through bible studies and preaching, mentoring young leaders and helping them to find and grow in their giftings. He also enjoys helping people to think through what it means to be followers of Jesus in our context here in Scotland today – living out the gospel call to make God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
He is married to Gillian and they have 2 cats and several rescue hens!
